President of the Chamber of Commerce Sergey Katyrin congratulated Acting Minister for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Alexander Chupriyan and his colleagues on their professional holiday – Russia’s Civil Defense Day that is celebrated on October 4.

Katyrin noted that the employees of the service, day after day, carry out their difficult and heroic watch, helping sometimes with the risk of their lives to citizens who find themselves in difficult life situations, ensure the national security of the country, solve a variety of issues of ensuring the country's defense and life. Sergey Katyrin wished all the servicemen and employees of the civil defense units of the Russian Federation further success in solving all emerging tasks.
