President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Sergei Katyrin visited the Russian pavilion at the EXPO 2020 World Exhibition in Dubai.
Sergey Katyrin is a member of the Organizing Committee to support the nomination of Moscow as a candidate city for the right to host the World Universal Exhibition "EXPO-2030" in 2030.
The motto of the Russian pavilion is “Creative Mind: Determining the Future”. According to Sergei Katyrin, it is vividly, fully and large-scale realized both in the architecture of the pavilion and in the exhibition itself. The vast experience accumulated over the years of Russian participation in world exhibitions, of course, guarantees professional training and the organization of EXPO-2030 in Moscow, if Russia is given such a right, Sergei Katyrin is confident.
The Russian pavilion at the World Exhibition in Dubai has already become one of the most visited, with queues constantly drawn to it. Even among the huge variety of national pavilions, the Russian one is striking. It is a dome made of thousands of multicolored tube threads. The pavilion was shown by Dmitry Mikhailov, Deputy Commissioner General of the Russian Pavilion at the World Exhibition, who said that all visitors sincerely admire both the fantastic architecture of the pavilion and the super-technological interior exposition.
In Dubai, these days (November 22-26), the 12th World Congress of Chambers of Commerce is taking place, in which a delegation headed by the President of the Federal Chamber, participates.
The World Exhibition under the slogan “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” was supposed to open in Dubai last year, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
