On March 15, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Sergey Katyrin visited the specialized scientific and testing center of the expert organization ANO SOYUZEXPERTIZA of the Chamber in Dolgoprudny (Moscow Oblast), where he examined the laboratory complex and assessed the potential of the enterprise.

The Research and Testing Center in Dolgoprudny is the only domestic laboratory of its kind specializing in the development and comprehensive research of anti-icing fluids and anti-icing materials. Until last year, there were only two independent laboratories in the world dealing with the examination of anti-icing fluids - in Canada and in the USA. Now there is such a complex in Russia.

The center is located on the territory of the Industrial Chemical Park TOS (IHP TOS), where advanced chemical production facilities operated in Soviet times. The presence of a well-built infrastructure, unique equipment and highly professional personnel, as well as partnership with the large modern Vnukovo airport, allows us to quickly and efficiently solve problems for the aviation, road and chemical industries.

Taking into account the sanctions imposed against Russia, the laboratory complex of the R&D Center "SOYUZEXPERTIZA" of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, which researches and develops domestic anti-icing fluids in accordance with international standards, has acquired not only industry, but also strategic importance.

Upon completion of the inspection of the laboratory and the presentation of the capabilities of the ICP TOS residents, the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin took part in a discussion of the prospects for the development of the Research Center "SOYUZEXPERTIZA" of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dolgoprudny.

Marat Bimatov, General Director of ANO SOYUZEXPERTIZA of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, noted: “The creation of the laboratory in Dolgoprudny took more than two years and required serious investments: the volume of investments in the construction and equipment of the laboratory complex amounted to about 70 million rubles. We see prospects in this project. In 2022, the first tests have already begun on the basis of the new scientific center, and this year, by the 100th anniversary of the examination of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we plan to reach a significant volume of services rendered.”

“According to meteorologists, due to the increased anthropogenic load, climate change has become more noticeable: if earlier anomalously cold or snowy winters in Russia happened once every hundred years, then since the end of the 20th century it has been once a decade. To maintain flight safety, the demand for anti-icing fluids is increasing. To combat icing, reduce winter injuries and accidents on the roads, large and medium-sized cities are abandoning sand-salt mixtures, increasing the demand for modern anti-icing materials, ”said Olga Bondarenko, head of the laboratory complex of the Research Center SOYUZEXPERTIZA of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The new center provides quality and safety control of these materials - with the help of a unique climate chamber, where specific weather conditions can be simulated in the laboratory.

Research Center "SOYUZEXPERTIZA"
