On August 13, the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin held a strategic session on the national project "International Cooperation and Export". It was attended by the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin.

In 2024, the previous national project, which allowed support measures to cover each stage of the product life cycle, will end.

Thanks to its implementation, businesses gained access to various types of lending with special rates and favorable terms for debt financing, international factoring and transaction expertise. In addition, contract insurance through the Export Credit and Investment Insurance Agency has become an effective tool.

Mikhail Mishustin noted that the share of friendly states in foreign trade turnover continues to grow dynamically: in the first five months of 2024, this figure in value terms exceeded 80%.

"It is important that to a large extent, such dynamics were the result of a significant increase in Russian exports by almost 11.5%," the head of the Government emphasized.

At present, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has prepared a new national project. According to it, by the end of 2030, it is planned to increase the volume of non-resource non-energy exports by two-thirds - in relation to the level of 2023 and reach the target value of about 21.12 trillion rubles. In addition, the plans include increasing the supply of agricultural products by at least 1.5 times compared to the 2021 figure. Their volume should exceed 4.7 trillion rubles.

The new national project will include 4 federal ones, which will affect industrial goods, agricultural products, the functioning of the system of instruments for the development of foreign economic activity, the creation of foreign support mechanisms.

They will be designed to ensure production and cooperation connectivity with friendly countries. We are talking about various trade and logistics centers, industrial plants, repair structures and others.
