On October 17, the Moscow World Trade Center in Moscow on Krasnopresnenskaya embankment hosted meetings of the BRICS Business Council working groups.
In particular, meetings of the Working Groups on Infrastructure, a subgroup on transport and logistics, on financial services, on professional training, applied technologies and innovations, on the digital economy, on trade and investment, on industrial cooperation and aviation, on energy, the "green economy" and climate, on agriculture (agribusiness) were held, and a round table on technological cooperation was held.
Today, the results of the BRICS Business Council's work this year will be presented. The heads of the BRICS BC working groups and the chairmen of the national parts will deliver reports. Based on the results, the annual report will be approved. The meeting will be chaired by the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the head of the BRICS Business Council, Sergey Katyrin.
A number of panel sessions will be held as part of the BRICS Business Forum on October 18: "BRICS Financial and Investment Cooperation. Challenges and Prospects", "International Trade and Logistics Connectivity of the BRICS Countries", "Development of Agribusiness and Strengthening Food Security in the BRICS Countries", "Sustainable Energy Transition and the Role of Technological Cooperation in the Implementation of the BRICS ESG Agenda".
A plenary session of the Forum will also be held on the same day.
There will also be a formal award ceremony for the winners of the International Competition of BRICS Best Practices - BRICS Solutions Awards and an award ceremony for the winners of the BRICS Women's Startup Competition.
