On January 14, Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ilya Zubkov began a trip to Vietnam. At the course of the visit he will hold meetings with representatives of government and business circles.

On the first day, a meeting was held with the Russian Trade Representative in Vietnam Vyacheslav Kharitonov, with whom the Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed issues of promoting Russian companies to the Vietnamese market.

Ilya Zubkov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development Nguyen Quang Vinh.

They discussed issues of expanding trade and investment ties between Russia and Vietnam, cooperation between the chambers, plans for interaction in 2025 and the development of the tourism sector.

Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ilya Zubkov also held a conversation with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SOVICO Groups Nguyen Thanh Hung.

During his visit to Vietnam, Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ilya Zubkov will take part in a meeting between Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who is visiting the country, and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Tinh with representatives of the business community of Russia and Vietnam.

A meeting is also planned with Deputy Chairman of the Trade Development Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (Viettrade) Bui Quang Hung.
