On February 26 a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the Republic of Iraq took place in Baghdad.
On the Russian side, the document was signed by Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Padalko, and on the Iraqi side, by President of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce Abdulrazaq Al-Zuhairi.
The signing ceremony took place as part of the program of the 10th meeting of the Russian-Iraqi Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
A plenary session of the commission was also held. Upon its completion, the following were signed: the final protocol of the 10th meeting of the Russian-Iraqi IGC, the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Iraq on cooperation in the field of maritime transport; a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Iraq.
