On November 1, 2022, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting between the Vice President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ekaterina Lebedeva with the Minister Plenipotentiary (trade representative) of the Embassy of Pakistan in the Russian Federation, Mr. Shaukat Hayat Chim Muhammad, and the Honorary Consul of Pakistan in St. Petersburg, Mr. Abdul Rauf Rind.

The parties discussed cooperation in the field of light industry, IT, tourism and investment. Of particular importance in the new geopolitical conditions is the establishment of transport corridors.

Pakistani representatives noted that they are interested in developing cooperation with Russia and St. Petersburg, including strengthening trade relations and increasing the supply of goods from Pakistan.

The St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry regularly hosts business forums with representatives of friendly states.
