The Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry was visited on July 10 by a delegation from the Department of Commerce of Jilin Province headed by Chi Chuan.

The delegation also included heads of large enterprises in Jilin Province: Changchun Mingyu Automobile (automotive industry), Tonghua Tongtian Wine Group (winemaking), Changchun Sida Research and Production Association (science and innovation). Entrepreneurs were interested in the possibility of cooperation with member enterprises of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The meeting was chaired by Alexei Salov, head of the Department for Foreign Economic and Interregional Relations. In his speech, he noted that the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry would render full assistance in establishing relations with the Ural enterprises.
The guests of the leading business association of the region were the delegation of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Heilongjiang Province. Deputy Director of the Department, Wang Bing, noted that cooperation with Russia in the field of trade, technology exchange and academic partnership is a priority for China.

Heilongjiang Province has been a partner of the Sverdlovsk region for more than 30 years, mutual business missions are organized annually. A confirmation of the special good neighborly relations is the fact that the delegation of Heilongjiang province became the largest at the Seventh Russian-Chinese EXPO.

Vice President of the Ural Chamber of Commerce Mikhail Kozlov noted the growing dynamics of cooperation between the Sverdlovsk Region and Heilongjiang Province.

The Ural Chamber also hosted a "round table" on the promotion of food and pharmaceutical products of the Qinan District. The delegation was headed by the Mayor of Suihue Sun Biao. The delegation also included other high-ranking government officials and entrepreneurs.
More than 20 entrepreneurs from the Sverdlovsk region, who run their business in the field of food technology, pharmaceuticals, and the manufacture of medical equipment, took part in the round table from the Russian side.

During the meeting, colleagues from China presented not only their region, but also novelties in the food industry, and a system for long-term food storage.

Companies of the Sverdlovsk Oblast also presented their capabilities, invited colleagues to upcoming international events. The rich business program of the delegation from the city of Suihua ended with an excursion to the EMA plant. Colleagues from China appreciated the high level of organization of production.

The representative delegation from Harbin at the Russian-Chinese EXPO was headed by the mayor of this largest city in China, Zhang Qixiang, and it included the heads of the leading departments of the city administration. The main purpose of the visit of the Harbin delegation to the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry was the presentation of an experimental free trade zone in the New District of the city of Harbin (Heilongjiang) and an invitation to cooperate with Ural entrepreneurs.
Summing up the meeting, Andrey Besedin, President of the Urals Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed confidence that the Urals business would respond to the proposal for cooperation, and the Chamber would provide all possible support to this mutually beneficial business partnership.
