Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Ageev met with the Ambassador of Mexico to the Russian Federation Eduardo Villegas Mejias and his wife Maria Nazareth Sanchez Romero. 

Eduardo Mejias arrived in Tatarstan on a business visit. The visit program includes a visit to the Investment Promotion Agency, IT Park named after. Bashir Rameev, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.

“Today little is known about Mexico in Tatarstan. It is important for us to develop cooperation, it is necessary for you to be able to get acquainted with our production potential. We are ready to come to you with the business circles of the republic,” Shamil Ageev, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, said at the meeting. He also invited the Ambassador of Mexico to take part in the KazanForum International Economic Forum.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the reception, noted potential areas of cooperation, spoke about the possibilities of exporting to Russia.

The guests also got acquainted with the activities of the chamber, they were given an excursion.
