On February 22, 2024, a meeting was held between the Vice President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ekaterina Lebedeva with the leadership of the Representative Office of the Taipei-Moscow Coordination Commission (TMCC) in Moscow and the Moscow office of the Taiwan Foreign Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

The parties discussed cooperation between St. Petersburg and Taiwanese entrepreneurs, which has been actively developing in past years. Currently, Taiwanese entrepreneurs are ready to offer their St. Petersburg colleagues the following interaction: cooperation in the field of green energy technologies, supplies of cosmetics, bicycles, and other consumer goods. Large Taiwanese convention and exhibition events also remain popular.
