St.Petersburg: Opportunities for Trade Cooperation with Pakistan Discussed at the Regional Chamber

On February 29, 2024, a video conference on cooperation between entrepreneurs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and St. Petersburg was held at the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event was attended by Vice President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ekaterina Lebedeva, representatives of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Islamic Republic of Pakistan), the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan, and the Minister of Trade and Investment of the Embassy of Pakistan in Russia, Mr. Shaukat Hayat Cheema.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of working together
and promising directions for the development of bilateral trade relations.
“Pakistan is ready to supply a wide range of products to the Russian Federation and St. Petersburg, including: textiles, leather goods, cars, pharmaceuticals, jewelry, seafood, poultry, potatoes, tangerines, spices and much more,” noted Mr. Shaukat Hayat Cheema.
