Kursk Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Held Meeting with Reps of Indian Embassy

On March 11, 2024, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kursk Region held a working meeting of representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of India with enterprises in the region.

The foreign delegation was represented by the First Secretary, Head of the Economics and Commerce Department of the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Russian Federation Ved Prakash Singh and Second Secretary Rohit Nema.

Also taking part in the event were Deputy of the Kursk City Assembly Abhay Singh, Commercial Director of Soyuztextile ST LLC Ivan Spirin, Head of the External Development Department of KEAZ Evgeniy Skotnikov and Leading Specialist of the Commercial Service of Kurskkhimvolokno LLC Alexander Kulebyakin.

The purpose of the working meeting is to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

“Cooperation between the Kursk region and India has enormous potential for the development and strengthening of bilateral relations. Our region can offer a wide range of goods and services: agricultural, metallurgical and chemical products, food, medicine, as well as services in the field of education and tourism. Both parties have significant resources and technological capabilities, which allows them to create mutually beneficial relations and expand trade flows,” said Alexey Belodurov, president of the Kursk Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Ved Prakash Singh thanked the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kursk region for organizing a working meeting with the business circles of the region interested in cooperation and assured that today’s event gave impetus to the establishment of long-term and mutually beneficial business relations between the two countries.
