The First Train with Krasnoyarsk Rapeseed Oil Went to China

On June 28, the first accelerated container train with rapeseed oil produced at the Krasnoyarsk Oil Plant (member of the Chamber) departed from the Bazaikha station in the Krasnoyarsk Kray to China.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the Central Siberian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rafael Shageev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Leonid Shorokhov, Head of the Krasnoyarsk Railway Alexey Tumanin and General Director of the shipping company Roman Muzenikov.
“On this historic day, I would like to express my gratitude, first of all, to the initiators of this production. The Central Chamber of Commerce and Industry observed how this plant was being built; together we accepted the equipment and set up the technological process. And today, the collective work of the entire team of the enterprise has created a flagship of the processing industry in the field of oilseed crops. I would also like to thank the regional government for its full support of the processing industry, because it is thanks to your help that we are all present here today,” said Rafael Shageev.
Leonid Shorokhov explained that previously trains with grain crops and rapeseed oilseeds departed from Krasnoyarsk, but this is the first time that a train with processed products from a regional enterprise with high added value has departed.
“This is the result of the common work of farmers, processors, Russian Railways and the Central Siberian Chamber of Commerce and Industry,” emphasized Leonid Shorokhov.
Let us add that for the fifth year in a row, the Krasnoyarsk Territory has become the first in Russia in terms of oilseed production. In 2023, the first train of 65 carriages with rapeseed, formed at a new transport and logistics hub in Krasnoyarsk, departed for China.
