On September 24, the Union "Astrakhan Chamber of Commerce and Industry" Hosted the President of the Joint Iranian-Russian Chamber of Commerce Mr. Tizkhush Taban Hadi.

During the talks, the issues of preparation for the XXI Session of the International Council of Business Cooperation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Caspian Region Countries "Business Caspian", which will be held in Astrakhan on October 30-31, were discussed.

A representative delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hasanzade Samat, is expected to take part in the event.

The topic of the meeting is "Business Caspian: new challenges and unique opportunities for economic growth of the Caspian region countries".

The participants will be representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, state and regional executive and legislative authorities, business circles of the Russian Federation, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, as well as experts, scientists and political scientists, leaders of public organizations.

During the meeting, the participants will discuss issues of comprehensive expansion of cooperation between the countries of the Caspian region in the current conditions of the development of the international transport corridor "North - South" and the modernization of port infrastructure, as well as international financial settlements.

In addition, the participants will be given the opportunity to hold direct negotiations in the B2B format and visit industrial, transport and logistics, tourist facilities of the Astrakhan region.
