On November 29, 2024, a meeting was held at the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry between the President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Katenev and the Chairman of the National Part of the SCO Business Council of the Republic of India and the Chairman of the Russian-Indian Business Council, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Tribhuvan Darbari.
During the meeting, dedicated to the prospects of Russian-Indian cooperation through the chambers of commerce and industry, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects of St. Petersburg and Indian entrepreneurs in the field of modernization of the railway infrastructure and rolling stock of the Republic of India, as well as the supply of Russian fertilizers to the Indian market.
The Chairman of the Russian-Indian Business Council FICCI, Tribhuvan Darbari, expressed his readiness to provide comprehensive support to St. Petersburg entrepreneurs
in entering the Indian market.
