On January 27 the Trade Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Dr. Shah Mohammad Habibul Hasan visited Ryazan Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and met the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Ryazan Region Lyudmila Kozlova. Deputy President Anna Afanaskina took part in the meeting.

Lyudmila Kozlova briefly informed about the economic potential of the Ryazan Region, about the largest investment sites - the Ryazan Industrial Park, the Aerospace Valley. Lyudmila Kozlova also presented the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Ryazan Region and noted that the largest business association of the region is actively involved in supporting Ryazan entrepreneurship. One of the main areas is foreign economic activity. The work of the Chamber contributes to increasing the investment attractiveness of the region, establishing trade and economic ties between Ryazan entrepreneurs. Lyudmila Kozlova emphasized that entrepreneurs of the Ryazan region are interested in developing cooperation with the business community of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
The Trade Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh spoke about the economy of his country and noted that the predominant industry is agriculture. In order to grow the economy and attract foreign investment, the government of the country has created about 100 free economic zones. The main exports are light industry products (clothing), seafood, and raw leather.
Shah Mohammad Habibul Hasan noted that there are many opportunities for Ryazan investors in the Republic of Bangladesh, and there is also interest in creating a joint venture for the production of clothing, similar to the one that operates today in Vladimir.
At the meeting, Lyudmila Kozlova and Shah Mohammad Habibul Hasan discussed options for possible cooperation. For this purpose, a study of the needs of the Ryazan market will be conducted, and proposals from entrepreneurs of the Republic of Bangladesh will be communicated to the regional government and entrepreneurs of our region. As part of possible cooperation, meetings of business representatives of the Ryazan Region and the People's Republic of Bangladesh were named, as well as the conclusion of a memorandum of cooperation between the Ryazan Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the district Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bangladesh.
As part of the visit to Ryazan, Shah Mohammad Habibul Hasan and Deputy President of the Ryazan Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry Anna Afanaskina visited the company AO Russkaya Kozha. Here they met with the management and took a tour of the production facility.
At the plant of AO Russkaya Kozha, the guests were met by Executive Director Dmitry Kruglov, who informed the guests about the company's development programs and investment projects. Dmitry Kruglov said that AO Russkaya Kozha is the largest manufacturer of genuine leather in Russia, accounting for 35 percent of the domestic market. The plant processes about 2 million cattle skins per year, successfully mastering automotive and aviation types of genuine leather, and products in many other areas. For several years now, the company has been actively cooperating with the People's Republic of Bangladesh, increasing the supply of natural leather to its consumers.
Accompanied by Dmitry Kruglov, the guests walked through the plant's production facilities and examined its diverse products. The meeting participants discussed the possibilities of cooperation.
