On January 24, 2025, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted an information meeting between Irina Karpenko, Director of the External Relations Department of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and representatives of the Alliance of Business Structures and Entrepreneurs of Southeast Asian Countries in Russia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of developing partnerships between the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Alliance in various fields, prospects for joint projects
and exchange of experience. Particular attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the creative industries, including fashion, design, architecture, gaming, animation
and film production.

In particular, the Alliance representatives spoke about preparations for holding the Russia-ASEAN: Creative Industries Summit in the Philippines, designed to strengthen ties between Russian and Asian specialists. The event also plans to sign a memorandum of understanding with one of the St. Petersburg universities in the creative industries.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, laying a solid foundation
for the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between St. Petersburg
and the countries of Southeast Asia.
