On February 18, President of the Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yuri Vasiliev met with the Consul General of India in St. Petersburg Ms. Neelam Rani.

At the meeting in the Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an agreement was reached on the visit of a large group of Indian entrepreneurs. It is planned that the official delegation of India will visit the Chamber during the upcoming SPIEF 2025, which will be held from June 18 to 21. The parties also discussed the possibility of organizing a joint meeting on Doing business videoconferencing, at which Indian entrepreneurs will be able to learn about the specifics of doing business in Russia and, accordingly, Russian entrepreneurs will get acquainted with the specifics of Indian specifics.
"We live in the era of digitalization, where everyone is united, so online contacts are probably the first bridge that we will build between our two countries, to establish this interaction," said Consul General of India in St. Petersburg Nilam Rani.

"I hope that with the appointment of the new Consul General, informal economic ties between entrepreneurs of both countries will only expand and strengthen," emphasized LRCCI President Yuri Vasiliev.
